I'm reminded of Tippi Hedren because TCM is showing "Marnie" tonight. The movie features a silly plot, mediocre dialogue, overwrought acting, and two of the best-looking people ever to grace the screen, Tippi Hedren and Sean Connery.
In the movie, Hedren plays a woman so traumatized by her mother's prostitution that she abhors the touch of men and is a kleptomaniac. (Trust me, it doesn't really add up.) But that is beside the point. This post is merely an excuse to put up Hedren's picture.
For the young folks: this is the way movie stars used to look.
