John Alite is the former Gambino crew member who turned on John Gotti Junior after Gotti let him take the fall for a couple of his own mistakes. Alite also got into hot water with Carmine Agnello, Victoria Gotti's husband, for having had an affair with Victoria.

Alite is obviously on steroids (and has had his chest waxed as well). He should fit right in in jail, where the inmates have nothing better to do than pump up all day. The pictures of John Gotti Jr. being arrested several years ago made it look as if he too had been juicing. He had the pumped up, baby bull look that juicers get. Sammy Gravano, the turncoat who helped convict John Gotti. Sr, took steroids as well. (Gravano was also known to have undergone plastic surgery.)

None of these mobsters seemed to have felt that their own natural testosterone levels were sufficient to project the kind of image they wanted.

That may be the problem with the Mafia these days: too much concern about image, not enough minding of the store. This could be why the Russian mob has been so successful at muscling in on their territory recently. The Russians are concerned with taking care of business, while the Italians are more concerned with their physiques.

Anyway, next time the FBI pays a visit to the Gambino clan, they might want to bring WADA along.
