Fun, interesting article on the Roissy website about the tastes of the lower middle class vs. that of the upper middle class:

I particularly enjoyed his commentary at the end about the character of each class. (He came out mostly, but not entirely, in favor of the lower middle class.)
For those of you unfamiliar with the acronym, SWPL refers to "Stuff white people like," from a website which mocks the pretensions of the liberal upper middle class.

You're about the last person in the world who should worry about appearing lower middle class.

I loved that line, it captures them so perfectly.
And by the way, you can't be guilty, because none of them would ever admit to being what they are.
