Unavailable
It was announced today that Rajat Gupta, the former Goldman director, will not be taking the stand in his own defense in his insider trading trial.
I haven't found his trial all that interesting, as he's pretty obviously guilty.
This morning's news was simply one more indication of that. Is there ever a clearer indication of a defendant's guilt than his counsel's decision not to put him on the stand?
It's as eloquent an admission as taking the Fifth.
