"Clueless schools chancellor defends opening classrooms: 'It's a beautiful day out'."

Despite the ten inches of snow which the NYC area received today, Bill de Blasio's new Schools Chancellor Carmen Farina decided to keep the schools open.

There's something very, very liberal about declaring "it's a beautiful day out there" in the middle of a blinding blizzard.

There's also something very racist about that declaration: It's all white. Where's the representation for the other shades of the brown rainbow?

funny but true, leftists refuse to acknowledge reality.

while Bloomberg erred too often on the side of safety, closing schools when conditions were mild. Yesterday was about as bad as it gets in NYC. This was like a statement from the new Mayor that there is a new sherif in town. No more snow days for New York City schools.

My guess, after all the heat they took on this one, from now on de Blasio and Farina err on the side of closing early.
