Some day these types of "study" programs will rank up there with the 1971 Stanford prison experiments led by Philip Zimbardo.

if there is one glaring arena that is ripe for disruption it is education. for several years I have felt the college education as we currently have it structured will fall apart when parents determine the enormous price tag is not worth the benefits.

if the colleges are going to continue down this road then parents like me will say skip it- kids can learn more valuable skills in the world of work without being indoctrinated into a leftist ideological quagmire.

the colleges and universities have gone so far out on this PC limb they are cutting off the branch. People working at serious jobs all have reservations about lefty profs. Having reservations can turn to having disdain quickly and American U is hastening the evolution.

Well put. The thing is, to this day they still seem to be more susceptible to demands from the Left than from the Right, as far out as they are on that pc limb. The way the Right will respond is by doing what you're doing, not sending their kids there and withholding alumni donations. Eventually the colleges will have to respond to that.
