"Ferguson's Gentle Giant Exposed" -- exposed

Just stumbled across this interesting video of BLM martyr Michael Brown doing his thing.

Update, next day: Rifleman just pointed out that this is not the same Michael Brown of Ferguson fame. The real Brown was taller. I should have looked at this video with a more critical eye, and should have realized that it would have gotten more publicity if it had actually been Michael Brown. Thanks to Rifleman for being smarter than me. I'll take this post down shortly.

Second update, a couple weeks later: I'm not going to take this post down. I ought not to cover up my errors, and it serves as a reminder that some on the Right lie as well.

Oh, my goodness, Michael Brown was a thug after all (gasp)! Why the media told us (the public) a whole different story about this big fella. What a disappointment to find out the truth about this young man.

It's amazing, in retrospect, how quickly the media went for the "gentle giant" story, when he was in fact just the opposite. This video was quite telling, too. He was hitting that skinny old guy really hard.

What's telling is that not one of those black youth came to the old man's aid. I wouldn't want any of them living around me.

Another one of them hit the old man, too. But the rest of them may have simply been too scared of Brown to come to the old man's rescue.

I know, I saw the other guy hit the man. It took me a while to figure out that the victim was an old man, having finally seen his grayish/whitish hair. Not a way to treat you elders! I'm not impressed with Brown's parents.

Just one of many winners the black community rallied behind.

What damning recording that is. Really awful to watch.

He gently king hit old man to the ground.

I know so many people who bought totally into the narrative - these are highly educated people, but they have such a strong need to believe that the US is irredeemable in its racism. If they were to see the video, they would persist in blaming white supremacy for "forcing" Brown to pummel the old man. It amazes me how easily they can deflect their anger. Some kind of similar mental maneuvering must have been at work in primitive and brutal practices like human sacrifice.

That's not the same Mike Brown.

Punk in the video is not the one from Ferguson. The dead Mike Brown was taller by far, different guy. Different belligerent punk.

You're right, thank you. I just took another look and the guy in the video is highly unlikely to be 6' 6". I'm going to put a retraction in the post and then take it down after a day or two. And now that I think of it, had this been real, it would have gotten more publicity. I should have looked at it with a more critical eye. Thank you (for being smarter than me).

I thought by now everyone was Michael Brown, or at least, every black person was. By that logic, that IS the same Michael Brown.

Agh, so many contradictions inside the narrative...please send soma ASAP.

Ha! Good point.

Then again, by that logic, the skinny old guy who got beaten up was also Michael Brown, and therefore Michael Brown WAS a victim we should feel sorry for.

Check this out John. I think you worked on Wall Street?

Yes, I worked on Wall Street. And yes, that really stinks. Eric Schneiderman is a typical pol, preaching against corruption and campaign contribution abuses, but then taking money from all sorts of organizations whose rivals he goes after. The problem is, that's the way the entire political system works. (The Clintons are two of the worst abusers.) Trump has talked about this, and hopefully will do something about it if he's elected. (Though I doubt he'd be able to get anything past Congress, which wants the contribution system to continue.)
