All you need to do is get his toothbrush and rub that on the murder weapon.

I'm not against the death penalty per se because I think the death of the murderer can give closure to the victim's family. But there are far too many cases of innocents being executed. Robert Pruett is about to be executed in Texas in a few weeks despite no evidence linking him to the murder he's supposed to have done (he's been convicted solely on the testimony of jailhouse snitches, who were probably themselves guilty). Troy Davis is another prominent one who was executed in Georgia without evidence. I don't think Hillary Clinton's "solution" - of keeping capital punishment but allowing for more eleventh hour DNA tests - is worthwhile, because DNA evidence can be tampered with.

This thought experiment for people who support capital punishment is what changed my mind: https://wingsoverscotland.com/soapbox-the-hangmans-lottery/

- GethinAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5794535954827182754.post-13871947969118629232012-03-08T20:32:42.417-05:002012-03-08T20:32:42.417-05:00Anon --
