Well, I'm impressed! This is one brave, FEARLESS mother. Her children can count on her - isn't that the truth, "come hell or high water", she'll get to her children no matter where they are. Thank God for people like this woman.
Birdie -- Amen. Imagine how much that mother loves her daughter, to take those risks. And she must be quite resourceful, too, to be able to pull that off.
I was thinking about it, it would actually be easier for a Western woman to pull that off than for a Western man. Women can drew in burkhas, and tend to attract less suspicion. That's certainly not to take away from the magnificence of her accomplishment, however.
I certainly hope the daughter repays her with eternal filial devotion and lots of grandchildren.
Yes, she's incredibly resourceful. If I were in battle, I'd want this lady on my side. Her children are incredibly blessed to have her as a mother. This story could literally bring tears to my eyes. There's no doubt in her children's minds (ever) how much their mother loves them. She'd risk her life for them.
