"The Teen Years: 9 Cringe-Inducing Realizations"

My 20-year-old daughter just sent me this funny article about how horrible teenagers are.

  1. Ha witty. The human cruelty scale is funny.

Yes, it was very clever. I liked the scale showing the value of a human at different ages too.

  3. It's scary how much of that I relate to. My foray into poetry was somewhat less impressive than I imagined at the time.

I think we can all relate to that.

Speak for yourself, guys. I wasn't the next Poe or anything but at the tender age of 17 (15 years ago) I wrote "The Nerd's Sonnet of Unrequited Love," which closes with the couplet, "I almost love you more than school so why / Did you ditch me for some athletic guy?" Red pill awareness in teen years AND it scans!

    Funny article, though.

I'm envious, not so much of your sonnet-writing ability as of your age. 32 is a great age: worldly yet still at the peak of your physical powers.

  7. John I’m glad someone has recognized that the cruelty of 12-14 year olds girls ranks higher than Charles Manson.

Despite that misleading graph, it's not even close.
