Paris

Michael Jackson's daughter Paris has been in the news lately for her recent Calvin Klein modeling contract, for having been signed for a movie with Charlize Theron, and for her penchant for nudity.

She certainly is beautiful:

And she's the spitting image of Michael!

That should put to rest once and for all those ugly rumors that Michael was a child molester.

Well she just succeeded in making herself a lot more famous. I googled her naked pics and I can see why she wouldn't want to keep those to herself.

Yeah, she's gorgeous, no question.

There's an example of someone who followed your "get plastic surgery while young" advice. I believe she's younger than Michael was when he had his first. (Although "have a rich/famous parent" was probably more important overall, the surgery must've helped.) It would be interesting to see a dynasty develop over several generations, and define itself not only by celebrity, but by surgical similarization. Imagine if Marlon Brando had had a kid carved up to look like him, then transitioned that kid into roles that he himself was getting too old to play. Like the Kennedy family, but with movies instead of politics.

On a side note, were you being ironic about Michael molesting kids? My understanding as a low-pop-culture-awareness entity was that he only molested boys, was bored by girls, and the daughter was raised by household staff.

Yes, I was being sarcastic: Michael was unquestionably a child molester. He liked boys aged 9 to 13 or so, and lost interest them after that. He ended up paying several of them off, and the many personal accounts and even just the circumstantial evidence were overwhelming. Your understanding is completely correct.

I guess I'm naive: somehow it didn't occur to me that Paris's face is the result of plastic surgery (i'm not that familiar with how she looked when younger), but I suppose that would make sense, give that family's attraction to surgery. As far as the similar look, yes, LaToya also went overboard with the surgery, though obviously not as drastically as Michael. Janet Jackson was the only one who ended up doing it right, though she later had a huge problem with her weight, which seems to have fluctuated hugely in her adulthood. (i'm a little embarrassed I know all this.)

Paris is an attractive young woman. Since she comes from a dysfunctional family, I hope that she acquires good mental health in the coming years. I know that she reportedly has suffered from depression in her past. I have zero confidence in the Jackson family, having what it takes to raise solid, grounded, happy individuals. Supposedly Paris's brother, Blanket (an odd name for a child), lives with his grandmother, Katherine (who's in her late 80's)- he spends a lot of his time alone, not having enough adult supervision in his life. What a sad, unfortunate existence for Michael Jackson's youngest child.

That grandmother struck me as a decent enough person, though she's obviously too old to raise a child now. The nightmare parent was her husband (I think his name was Joe), who allegedly fed Michael puberty-delaying drugs when he was 12 or so in order to keep the pitch of his voice where it was during the heyday of the Jackson Five, in order to keep that money machine alive. That supposedly is the reason Michael Jackson's voice was so preternaturally high, and may have had a great deal to do with why his sexuality turned out the way it did. When you look at films of Michael when he was young, he looks healthy and vigorous, like a normal young boy. Usually when someone turns out as effeminate as he did, there are signs of it when he's younger as well.

I've read a little about their father. Definitely not a good man. I feel sorry for the kids, that they're part of that clan.

My last comment was referring to the Jackson "nightmare parent," Joe, an all around horrible man. He's elderly as well, a scary looking person.

Yes, I realized whom you were referring to.

Michael Jackson referred his abusive, psychopathic dad as Joseph. Michael was flat out scared of his dad.
