Musing about Rachel Dolezal's thoughts regarding Warren recently reminded me of the one person whose thoughts must be even more poisonous.
A little peek into Hillary's brain:
"It was bad enough when Obama beat me in '08 by parlaying his racial background into the Presidency. But Elizabeth Warren? That would be too much to take."
"I was supposed to be the first woman President! Much as I despise Trump, it'd be even worse if that bitch gets to sit in the Oval Office. If I have to abide this phony dime store Indian taking my place I'll fucking explode."
"How can I undermine her? I think I'll mention the Indian thing every chance I get, you know, just obliquely. Maybe I'll say something like, she'll be great for the downtrodden, for blacks and Native Americans. You know, just sort of inject a subtle reminder. Or I could say, well, at least she didn't benefit from white privilege the way most of the other candidates did. Maybe I'll drop the fact that she was a Republican until she was 47."
"Her husband's a complete nobody. Has anybody ever heard of Bruce Mann? I had to put up with Bill, and let me tell you, most women wouldn't be able to deal with that crap."
"Listen to her talk about her family recipe for Pow Wow Chow, like she's some little housewife who enjoys nothing more than staying at home to bake cookies. What a complete fraud! I made it clear right from the start I was a new kind of woman, not some little Loretta Lynn stand-by-your man type."
"I had to dodge sniper fire in Bosnia; when did she ever do anything like that? I turned a thousand dollars into a hundred thousand in the cattle futures trading market. When has she ever done anything like that?"
"Can you believe the way she drank that beer from the bottle in her kitchen when she announced she was running, like she's just some regular gal? What a complete charlatan! I could drink that prissy little prig under the table any day."
The worst part will be if she's elected, when I have to pretend to be thrilled about it. As if I'm happy to finally see a woman as President even if it's not me. I don't think I'll be able to swallow my bile. It's going to take all my will power not to just shoot her. It should have been me!!"

Welcome back John! What a great post-please consider coming back from sabbatical. I never thought Warren would think that but now that you mention it she most probably does think and feel exactly that. See you in the pool. Brian

Blogging will continue to be a very sporadic thing for me, but thank you. Hillary is full of poison, there's no possible way she would be anything but insanely jealous of Warren should Warren get elected. Yes, see you at the pool.
I am sure Hillary would spin it to how she was the trail blazer that enabled the 1st women president .. yada yada .. but you are correct deep down the jealousy / anger would be there
Now that Bill has lost his charm on the public, and looks like a weak old man, I am sure she has lashed out at him for helping her lose the election due to all his baggage and how he is now only dead weight...
Warren has tossed herself of the sword and reversed course on the native American claim. "I am not a person of color; I am not a citizen of a tribe. Tribal citizenship is very different from ancestry. Tribes, and only tribes, determine tribal citizenship, and I respect that difference." I think she doubled down as many times as she could on the pow wow chow claim but couldn't make it stick with the public - I do have to wonder how publishing a DNA test proving 99% plus "white" proves native American status. You have to wonder how a lawyer would ever think that would help prove her case.
I love the spin from the Warren wiki Page - below is half facts mixed with deflection and a dose of Trump -
At a July 2018 Montana rally, President Donald Trump promised that if he debated Warren, he would tell her that he would pay $1 million to her favorite charity if she could prove her Native American ancestry via a DNA test. Warren released results of a DNA test in October 2018, then asked Trump to donate the money to the National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center. Trump denied making the challenge.[125][126] Warren's DNA test concluded that "while the vast majority of [Warren's] ancestry is European, the results strongly support the existence of an unadmixed Native American ancestor in [her] pedigree, likely in the range of 6–10 generations ago."[127] The use of DNA to determine Native American heritage was criticized by the Cherokee Nation as "inappropriate and wrong".[123][128] During a 2019 public appearance in Sioux City, Iowa, Warren was asked by an attendee, "Why did you undergo the DNA testing and give Donald more fodder to be a bully?" Warren responded in part, "I am not a person of color; I am not a citizen of a tribe. Tribal citizenship is very different from ancestry. Tribes, and only tribes, determine tribal citizenship, and I respect that difference."[129] She later reached out to leadership of the Cherokee Nation to apologize "for furthering confusion over issues of tribal sovereignty and citizenship and for any harm her announcement caused". Cherokee Nation executive director of communications Julie Hubbard said that Warren understands "that being a Cherokee Nation tribal citizen is rooted in centuries of culture and laws not through DNA tests."

Bill does look like a weak old man now, but I think he lost his charm because we're in the Metoo era. And, of course, his association with Epstein didn't help. I loved the way he claimed to have ridden Epstein's jets only 5 times, and then the log showed he was on it 27 times; gee, I'm sure he's got nothing to hide there.
I sort of hope Warren does get the nomination, just to watch the fun everyone has with her Indian claim. There's no question she benefitted in her academic career by claiming to be a minority; Harvard even advertised her as a woman of color.
Trump is not doing himself any favors in the meantime. I support him politically, but today he called Fed Chairman Jay Powell "the enemy" because he didn't g guarantee that he was going to lower interest rates in the immediate future. Powel did what Fed chairmen always do, which is talk in vague, general terms, and leave himself some wiggle room for future maneuvering in case circumstances change. But Trump is a typical narcissist for whom, unless you give him complete and utter -- and blind -- loyalty, he considers you the "enemy." I'm afraid he's just going to alienate too many people this way. We have enemies, like China, and when he says that Powell is the enemy, he just lowers his own credibility.
But, at least he never called himself an Indian. And unlike a lot of politicians, he's never lied to us about who he is. He may be rude and crude and crass and arrogant, but he's never pretended to be otherwise. And that puts him a notch ahead of Warren and al the other posturing politicians who pretend to be something they're not, both character-wise and, in Warren's case, racially.
That is the neat thing about Bill - he can always spin a lie off the truth - or lie by omission; he still has that "gift".
What he stated is - he only took a few trips, around 5, and always had his secret service with him on every trip. That is the truth as stated based on how he defines a "trip". The finer detail is there were 27 legs that make up the total sum of the trips and his SS were not always on every "leg" of the trips. What a deceptive wordsmith
This is the same wordsmith maneuver he used with the Monica scandal. - “There is no improper relationship.” That was the truth at the time of his statement as the relationship with Monica had ended - When confronted about his later admission of an improper relationship and if he had perjured himself - he said the famous line “It depends on what the meaning of the word ‘is’ is." Wordsmith games with present and past tense.
I have a guilty story - I was walking my German Shepard late at night off leash; A no no in my area. a fellow walker, who I could hardily see, saw the outline of my dog and in an excited / confronting voice ask if I had a leash for my dog - I replied in a confident voice - why yes I do have a leash for her - the walker replied thank you in a relieved voice and went on her way into the darkness. I didn't lie as I do have a leash; it was just at home - and of course I knew that she was really asking "do you have your big German Shepard on a leash". As I was heading back home, I thought this is the dupers delight that con men get when they have fooled someone with a play on words.
As far as Trump - agree - not a person that I would want to hang around with or work for. I will state that he has opened my eyes to the mainstream media - I had always assumed that the media were the good guys that dug up the truth and kept people informed with fair and balanced reporting. I never paid attention - I just assumed CNN was the "most trusted name in news" - that's what James Earl Jones told me. Trump now has the media so rattled that the bias is no longer subtle but out on full display.

So true about Bill C. Another similar lie: when he said "I did not have sex with that women," I think it was technically true, in that he hadn't had sexual intercourse with her. They had just fooled around, she had given him oral sex, and he had done something for her (I'm not sure what, beyond the infamous cigar).
Ha, funny story about the leash. (Should I just call you Bill?) Now that I think of it, I was once asked -- a long, long time ago -- by a coworker, "Are you having sex with [such and such a woman]?" I replied "No," but he gave me such a disgusted, disbelieving look that I felt obliged to shrug and add, "I'm having a conversation with you."
You must be a lot younger than me if it took Trump derangement syndrome to open your eyes to the media. I have to admit, when I was in my late 20's I just assumed that the media were just watchdogs who reported the news in unbiased fashion; it wasn't until my early 30's that I realized the extent to which it was being spun. Now that I think about it, my blindness to the media's tilt was particularly strange given that even at 19, I knew full well that those academics who tried to disavow the role of genetics in the determination of IQ -- Stephen Jay Gould, Richard Lewontin, etc. -- were nothing but propagandists.
Elizabeth Warren committed fraud by claiming to be a minority - and benefited from it for admissions and future posts. I just can't understand how she is a front runner in the party of downtrodden minorities how are, to this day, subjected to relentless discrimination by white people - like her (sarcasm intended).
And, of all peoples - the Native Americans...... Who were basically the victim of genocide by the European white man.

So true. She really should be getting the Rachel Dolezal treatment, but instead, she's lionized.
